Role Description
We have been 100% responsive since our inception and have a no compromise approach to email design – a great experience in every email client. Email developers work within the creative team to drive the development of fully responsive email campaigns. This role includes coding responsive HTML emails, building template-based emails, and working with our platform team to ensure our clients emails are dynamic, efficiently coded, and render correctly across all email clients.
Responsibilities
  • Work with designers and stakeholders to develop and craft responsive HTML emails
  • Prepare Photoshop files as required, slicing/resizing images
  • Work with platform teams to implement ESP specific code to enable personalization and dynamic content
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders related to email revisions and other production topics
  • Working with internal production tools and contributing to template/process documentation
  • Stay up to date on trends and practices in the email development community
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of either agency or in-house design/front-end development experience working on established brands
  • Understanding of the limitations of various email clients and technologies
  • Proficient knowledge of HTML & CSS and various email development techniques
  • Fluid ability to work in Photoshop & Dreamweaver (or similar HTML development tools)
  • Enjoy collaboration of ideas and processes as part of a team
  • Current on latest responsive design thinking and techniques
