Business Development Manager


A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A dynamic and driven sales professional to help fuel the growth of our agency.  This person must be a highly motivated, collaborative and able to clearly articulate how the agency will help prospective clients through Trendline’s brand of digital engagement excellence.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and engage key business stakeholders to establish trusted advisor relationships and build consensus around the buying decision
  • Drive new business sales pursuits from origination to close
  • Qualify and close inbound leads
  • Look for incremental sales opportunities within the first year of client relationships
  • Lead RFP response with support of cross functional teams
  • Accurately forecast new business opportunities
  • Engage with key strategic partners in joint sales pursuits
  • Analyzes customer business goals, objectives, needs, process and existing infrastructure
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of three years experience in High Tech Professional Services, Strategic Consulting and/or System Integrator
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud, AdTech and digital marketing agencies and consultancies
  • Ability to develop sales strategies, growth plans, opportunity briefs and sales plans to drive new logo and client solution
  • Strong ability to originate, qualify, close, upsell and cross-sell clients
  • Strong history of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
