Senior Interactive Designer


This is a highly visible and strategic role. As an Sr. Interactive Designer, you’ll be working with large companies to drive concepts, visual tone, clarity and persuasion to the messages we send on behalf of our clients. You understand the vast amount of devices and email clients our creative is viewed on and can excel in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop concepts from creative briefs and direction from ADs and CDs
  • Present clear vision of concepts to clients and account teams
  • Create and formulate a visual and emotional expression to the target audience
  • Develop the design aspect within project teams with minimal oversight
  • Assist with the mentoring and training of new interactive designers
  • Self-manage deliverables to ensure deadlines are met and design quality is excellent
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with team members or with client to define visual design direction
  • Attend, participate and give feedback at project and internal team meetings
  • Help build a strong company culture driven around design and communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • 3+ years of either agency or in-house design experience working on established brands
  • Understanding of the limitations of various email clients and technologies
  • Fluid ability to work in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Google Docs (Sketch is a plus)
  • Enjoy collaboration of ideas and processes
  • Ability to construct, or dictate how your designs will work in HTML and CSS
  • Willingness and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and with fast-moving timelines
Desired Skills
  • Strong skills in illustration and/or animation
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS for email
  • Conducting user testing and/or analytical research
